RNA sequencing is a Next-Generation Sequencing technique used to analyze the quantity and sequences of RNA molecules in a biological sample. RNAseq is a sensitive and accurate tool used to capture transcriptomic information. Understanding the transcriptome allows us to know which genes are turned on in a cell, what their level of transcription is, and at what times they are activated or turned off.
